Meditation & Mindfulness Workshops
Are you stressed, anxious, or just looking for ways to become more peaceful, centered and happy! Then this workshop is for you! The benefits of Meditation are endless and many recent studies have shown that brain function and structure actually changes in consistent meditators. Gray matter increases, symptoms of depression, anxiety and even dementia decrease substantially.
This 4 hour Introduction to Meditation & Mindfulness will be very practical and provide you with the basics on Meditation; the hows and whys. We will practice a number of different types of Meditation and discuss how to find time for a consistent Meditation practice in your busy schedule & ways to become more Mindful throughout your day. A very detailed handout will be provided that will summarize everything covered in the workshop and provide resources on the studies about meditation, websites, books, cds etc.

This workshop will not be taking place on the studio floor. We will be sitting on comfy chairs in my living room.

Schedule: 10 am – 2:00 pm. A short break with a light snack will occur at 12 noon.
